OUR STORY
The five Wideman siblings....
Steve, Brian, Edith April Grate, Bernard and Willie Jr started Wideman's Family Catering as a way to help pay for their mother, Edith's, cancer treatments and medical bills in general. They would put proceeds from catering events into an account which their mother could access for whatever she might need.

Steve who lives in Salisbury, runs the family business, but his siblings are always there to lend a hand for any catering event. A way of fulfilling their mother's hope that her children would continue to stay close with each other into adulthood. Even the siblings who live in and around Tabor City consider Salisbury to be their second home.

Edith Wideman was diagnosed with cancer in 2012. Much of her care fell to daughter April, who stayed with her mother both in Tabor City or if she were visiting Steve, in Salisbury. She passed away on March 15, 2014 in Salisbury. She often split her days between home in Tabor City and her second home in Salisbury with Steve who has lived and worked in Salisbury full-time since playing football and graduating from Livingstone College in 1992.

Edith Wideman instilled a love for people and strong work ethic in all her children. The business slogan speaks to the love and care that she had for others...
"We will cater to your needs! No job is too LARGE OR too small.... WE CATER THEM ALL!"
